Little Johnny's parents were called to come pick him up at school. They were also requested to meet with the Principal about pending expulsion.

The Principal asked, "Did either of you see how Little Johnny was dressed for Halloween when he left for school this morning?"

Dad: "Well yes, actually, I did. It was my turn to see the kids off to school, and both were dressed as pirates."

Principal: "I'm afraid Johnny fooled you and changed his costume somewhere between home and school. And what he did was completely unacceptable."

Mom: "Unacceptable? What can a kid do that's so bad?"

Principal: "Well, first you have scary. We like scary. It's fun. It shows creativity. Then you have a category we call 'sick and depraved.' That's what we're talking about here. It's way beyond scary, it's sheer terror. It's the kind of thing that gives people nightmares and fills their days with terror."

Mom: "Oh my God, it sounds awful...."

Principal: "Wait. That's not the worst of it. When we see a kid do this kind of thing, we are seeing a child use an inappropriate role model."

Dad: "You don't mean me, do you?"

Principal: "No, of course not. The role model in this case is a pathological threat to society, a deeply disturbed person who serves no purpose but who has delusions of adequacy combined with a profound desire to hurt other people savagely."

Mom: Breaks out in tears.

Dad: (Voice cracking). "You mean our son came as...."

Principal: "Yes, I'm sorry to say it. Little Johnny came to school as an IRS agent. We have grief counselors helping the other children already."
